// overview

Overview

The BF-6920 is a touchscreen temperature and humidity controller with a separate display panel (DC12V) driven by an AC220V mainboard. Alongside −50°C to 100°C temperature control at 0.1°C, it adds optional humidity measurement across 0–99.9% RH at ±3% RH, which makes it the right choice for cold storage and refrigeration where both temperature and humidity have to be held within range — fresh-keeping rooms, ripening rooms and humidity-sensitive industrial control.

The controller manages the complete refrigeration cycle through its touchscreen: compressor with start-up delay protection, periodic defrost, evaporator-fan control, alarms and 1–100A current detection. With the humidity sensor fitted, it coordinates temperature and humidity control together, so produce and other sensitive goods stay in optimal conditions without juggling separate temperature and humidity controllers.

// key functions

Key functions

Temperature & humidity control

Controls temperature from −50°C to 100°C and, with the optional sensor, humidity from 0–99.9% RH at ±3% RH — combined temperature and humidity control from one touchscreen.

Touchscreen operation

A 193×133 mm touchscreen panel makes setting and monitoring temperature, humidity and defrost parameters quick and clear.

Full refrigeration & defrost control

Compressor delay protection, periodic defrost with dual time/temperature stop and fan management keep cold storage temperature stable.

Current detection

1–100A current detection protects the compressor in continuous refrigeration duty.

// where it's used

Where it's used

Fresh-keeping & ripening rooms

Where produce needs both temperature and humidity control, the BF-6920 holds the room in the right band for fresh-keeping and controlled ripening.

Cold storage with humidity control

In humidity-sensitive cold storage the controller balances refrigeration and humidity together to limit dehydration and frost build-up.

Industrial temperature & humidity control

For processes that must hold a set temperature and humidity, the touchscreen gives clear combined control and logging.

// installation & use

Installation & use

1

Mount the touchscreen panel in a 187×126 mm cut-out and connect the AC220V mainboard, with DC12V to the screen. Place the temperature sensor where it reflects product temperature, and locate the humidity sensor in free-flowing air away from direct cold output for accurate humidity control.

2

Fit the defrost sensor on the evaporator return pipe with waterproofing, keep signal wiring clear of power lines, and add an independent temperature alarm on critical cold storage as a backup to the controller.

// FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does the BF-6920 measure humidity?
Yes, with the optional humidity sensor it measures 0–99.9% RH at ±3% RH alongside −50°C to 100°C temperature control, for combined temperature and humidity control.
What is the difference between the BF-6920 and BF-6921?
They share the touchscreen platform; the variants differ in configuration. Both provide temperature control, defrost, fan management and 1–100A current detection.
Is the display separate from the mainboard?
Yes. The AC220V mainboard drives a separate DC12V touchscreen panel (193×133 mm), giving flexibility in how the controller is mounted.
